We are so excited to invite you to a special Bee-Centric event at the farm! On September 26th, from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM, we will host an intimate gathering of beekeepers, friends of bees, and anyone who wishes to know more about the fascinating world of bees.
Wardwell Farm welcomes area beekeepers Charles Schafer & Justin Domingus as our seasoned experts! We will gather to harvest this season's honey, experience an ecclectic honey tasting, nibble on some honey-inspired hors d'oeuvres, and sit at a big communal farm table to share in conversation and a delicious home-cooked meal created for us by local chef Mira Rosenkotz from Coyote Farm.
It will be a wonderful chance to better understand the importance of taking up this amazing hobby and to delight in marvelous tales of caring for bees in the PNW. Perhaps by the end of the evening we will have managed to recruit and inspire some new beekeeping community members into our Bee Club and encourage new friends to join in the fascination of this ancient art of tending to bees!
Ticket includes:
Honey Harvest demo/participation, take-home honey samples, mead tasting flights, dinner and dessert, countless samples from Pixie Mead and priceless conversation with your bee-loving community at our sweet little farm.
