Camps
Remember when summer meant nobody telling you what to do next? That's Wardwell. No rigid schedule, no forced rotation through activities — just a farm full of things to discover and the freedom to go find them. Catch a frog. Sit with the bunny. Feed the chickens & check for eggs. Make a blackberry potion. Kids decide, and that unstructured freedom is exactly what makes the day fly by — and what makes them beg to come back tomorrow.
First week of camp begins June 17 just as school lets out and we will run week-long camps through all July & August. 10.5 weeks of Farm Camp fun! Scholarships available upon request.

A Typical Day on the Farm
Every day looks a little different — but here's roughly how the sun moves across a Wardwell camp day, from drop-off to pack-up.
AM
Gather in the Garden
Wheel into the drop circle and meet our staff. Kids check in, stash their backpacks, find a friend or two, and off they go.
Routine
Morning Routine
Check for eggs. Snuggle a chicken. Say good morning to the goats. See if Mud Kitchen's open. There's always something to wander into.
AM
Snack Time
Freshly popped popcorn with homemade buttery herb salt and watermelon — that's a house favorite.
AM
Morning Activity of Choice
Fresh garden herbs, a mortar and pestle — potion time! Or the stream. Or Club Nettle. Or studio time. Or knee-deep in a homemade mud volcano. Kids choose.

Lunch
Time to run the goats back up to their paddock, clean up, and settle onto the patio in the shade with all of our friends — with maybe a little pickleball first.

Afternoon Activity of Choice
Once again, kids decide what drives and delights them — and off we go.

Pack-Up, Pops & Pick-Up
Lemonade ice pops in the garden, a few final rounds of everyone's favorite games, and off they go.
