We look forward to Summer Farm Camp all year round. It is hands-down the most fun-packed season on the property. Each week will offer a little thematic twist to keep things interesting but the undercurrent of farm-fresh fun is a constant. Check out our weekly offerings below to see what suits you and your child(ren). We encourage each family to select 3 weeks in total so that we are able to share the Wardwell fun with many friends in our community!

Summer Camp Offerings & Registration

Week 1
*June 17-19*
Our Summer Farm Camp "Kick-off Week" is short and sweet but it is a great way to try out a little burst of time on the farm. It is also an ideal way to wrap up the school year and celebrate another school year on the books. Get outside in the garden, grab your favorite hen, collect some eggs, check in with Harvey the Goat, challenge your buddies to a little pickleball match, create something fabulous in the art studio, mix up a disgusting potion in Mud Kitchen or perhaps all of the above!
Week 2
*June 22-26*
Ahhhh, Potions Week....I can just about smell the fresh herbs as they are clipped and muddled and whipped up into delightfully disgusting potions, room sprays and perfumes for all to enjoy. The Mud Kitchen makeover is happening this winter in anticipation of one of our favorite weeks of the summer. If you love making a beautiful mess, digging in Mud Mountain for hours, creating concoctions to sell to all your friends, then this is the week for you.

Week 3
*June 29-July 3*
Glorious "Goat Week." Harvey and Thor look forward to this time all year round. They can't wait for you to circle your wagons, grab your pruners and your favorite gloves and head for the blackberry bushes to clip them some fresh treats to haul back to their paddock. We will indulge in all things Goat Love this week as we celebrate our little Wardwell goat herd.
Week 4
*July 6-10*
Reptiles on the Farm is officially one of our favorite experiences here. If your child(ren) has not had the chance to meet our friend April, the Reptile Lady, it is time to sign them up! Take it from me, I not only embrace the pythons, I drape them lovingly around my neck. Adopting a reptilian theme for the week is truly a farm highlight! Come and see for yourself!

Week 5
*July 13-17*
Personally, I adore this week on the farm as it is a chance to be the ultimate Farm Dabbler. The beehives will be checked, the eggs will get collected, the farm stand will be stocked, veggies sampled, flowers arranged as we cover every inch of the property with all of our Farm Dabbling campers. This week truly has something for one and all!
Week 6
*July 20-24*
Chicken wrangling and snuggling is a thing. During Chicken Week on the farm we devote countless hours to our precious flock. Big Mama and the girls gear up for a serious spoiling as they await all of the handmade treats, watermelon mealworm sundaes and the grand opening of the newest wing of their favorite Chicken Chunnel. Things really heat up for the girls as we welcome our friends from West Sound Wildlife for a visit with their birds of prey. It is a moment to really talk through backyard birding and to really embrace all of our winged friends. If you are a hen-obsessed human then this is the week for you!

Week 7
*July 27-31*
Foodie Farmer Week is Fab! This garden-centric week is focussed on all that we can harvest and peddle. The farm stand comes to life and kids create their own little foodie kiosk out on the pickleball patio to peddle their wares to their fellow campers. Its artsy and wacky and tasty all at once. This is one of the most hilarious weeks of the summer as we watch our little friends become such entrepreneurial creatures!
Week 8
*August 3-7*
Sporty Spice Farm Week has yet to be a thing but its clear that we have many friends out there who crave this kind of old-school game playing fun. Time to haul out the giant parachute, set up the big field for serious whiffle ball, pull out all of the pickleball paddles, and gear up for some sporty fun on the farm. And yes, this means massive games of Hide and Slink in the forest and ginormous bubble blowing! (That is a sport all in of itself.)

Week 9
*August 10-14*
Farm Fairy Week is ultra special. Every fairy, gnome and sprite for miles eagerly awaits this week on the farm as creative children flood the woods intent on building the most innovative fairy homes & communities. The moss has been growing all winter and spring, the ferns are ever-abundant and the stream side pebbles are ripe for the collecting. This week is for every child who dreams BIG about constructing teensie worlds for our magical Wardwell Woodland creatures.
Week 10
*August 17-21*
This Heavy Duty Crafting Artsy Week on the farm is going to be a blast. Artsy activities will be oozing from all of our crafty corners. From the re-use studio to the garden shed to the pickleball patio to the puppet theatre to the latest wacky art trailer down in the Douglass Fir stand.... we will be on a crazy, creative, crafting spree! Oh, how the ideas are rolling in for projects galore! This is certainly a week not to be missed for those crafty souls in your family.
Note: This week also includes a special visit from our feathered friends from West Sound Wildlife.

Week 11
*August 24-28*
Back-to-School Bonanaza Week on the farm will be chock full of all of the Wardwell delights that many of you have come to know. Consider this week a celebration of all things summer: ice pops galore, face painting, bubble blowing, chicken wrangling, honey testing, lemonade peddling, pickleball playing, stream exploring, and oh, so much more! Come guzzle up the last gasp of summer with your Wardwell friends.
